Panchshila’s vision is to bring together individuals, groups and communities working to reclaim and maintain their right to live fulfilled lives in peace and harmony with their environment.
Panchshila’s core purpose is to share innovative theory and practice, locally and regionally, based on reclaiming indigenous and traditional knowledge and wisdom for appropriate and peaceful social change.
Key Aims of Panchshila are to:
- Build and enhance capacity of individuals, institutions and organisations to develop
inspirational vision of governance and deliver their services with integrity. - Offer a programme of education and learning for transformation.
- Promote innovative practice in human development and human rights based on
traditional and indigenous knowledge systems - Create a space for practitioners engaged in critical thinking, research and action in science, culture,
social and economic development to share and reflect upon their practice to enhance mutual learning.
